Using PIX4Dinspect, you can import RGB images (.jpg, .jpeg) or videos from Parrot Anafi (.mp4). More information in: Inputs. PIX4Dinspect outputs include a 3D Model, Elevation map, Image map, and reports. For more information: Outputs.
PIX4Dinspect supports geolocated JPEG images from the most popular DJI drones and drone manufacturers' cameras providing the recommended XMP tags (for position and orientation).
It is not possible to process images without geolocation in PIX4Dinspect.
The number of projects that can be created depends on the purchased license.
In case of bad quality results for a project, you are allowed to upload a new dataset under the same asset for maximum other two times during a 15-days interval after the first upload. In this case, the total uploads (maximum 3 per project) will count as just 1 consumed project.
There is no limitation regarding the number of images to process. However, for an optimal experience with our servers, and for technical limitations, the maximum number of images that can be processed per project is 4000. Keep in mind that we expect our users to respect our fair usage policy.
What is PIX4Dinspect fair usage policy?
According to our fair usage policy, the average on a yearly basis of all the uploaded projects must not exceed 15 PGPs.
PGPs = number of images * image resolution [MP] / 1000
For example: 750 images of 20MP = 15 PGP.
Web measurements calculated on the results are displayed in metric or imperial units. To change the unit system:
- On the top right, click the user icon and select Account settings.
- In the panel Solution preference, select the measurement unit.
Yes, PIX4Dinspect is able to generate a report, which includes the information derived from the Image annotations and the Antenna tool.
Once a license expires, the projects are kept on our servers and can still be accessed before their deletion according to our Retention policy.
Without a valid PIX4Dinspect license, the projects can still be accessed to create manually added inventory items, measurements, and annotations. Such changes will be saved automatically, but the PDF report can not be regenerated, and it is not possible to create new projects unless a new license is purchased.
