If you still don’t have a Pix4D account, you can sign up by following these instructions.
Wondering why you need a Pix4D account?
- To start a trial.
- To activate a paid license.
- To contact technical support, service included in your trial or paid license.
Activate your paid license
If you bought your license on our online store, there is no additional action needed; your license is already active!
Did you buy your license from one of our sales representatives or an official partner instead? Activate your license with the license key/coupon code in the license certificate or the coupon you received from the sales representative.
Some more useful information about your license and your account
Desktop 
Pix4D desktop licenses are floating licenses with a specific number of seats. This means that you can log out of a desktop application on a computer and log into it on another one. You do not need to uninstall the software to use it on a different computer.
The number of seats available for your license defines the number of computers on which you can simultaneously use the desktop license.
Cloud 
There is no limit on the number of devices on which you can simultaneously use the license, create and access your cloud projects.

Download PIX4Dmapper from the download page and install the application.
Tips about your paid license
We encourage you to activate the Remote device deactivation feature so that you can remotely deactivate a device in the future in case of need. For more information: Enable remote device deactivation for deactivating a device remotely - PIX4Dmapper.
Before switching to your paid license, ensure you are not using the Discovery version of the software (the grey Pix4D discovery logo is displayed and step 3 is greyed out). If that is the case, log out, then re-open the application and select the license key of the paid license.

- A Pix4D account is required to export PIX4Dcatch projects on your device. You can sign up following these instructions.
- A PIX4Dcloud / PIX4Dcloud Advanced license is required to upload the project for cloud processing
- A PIX4Dmapper/PIX4Dmatic (trial, discovery, OTC, monthly, and yearly) license is required to process the project in PIX4Dmapper/PIX4Dmatic
