GCPs layer - PIX4Dcloud Advanced

The GCP layer gives a qualitative feedback on how accurate the project is just by having a quick look at the GCPs and Check Points locations in the 2D/3D view. For further analysis, refer to the AutoGCP report and the quality report of the project.

Access: The GCP layer is displayed only for PIX4Dcloud Advanced projects, whose GCPs have been detected with the AutoGCPs detection functionality.

On the left panel of the 2D/3D view, the GCP layer is visible under Layers.

The layer GCPs includes:

Ground control points detected and marked by the AutoGCPs functionality. These points are displayed in purple.
Check points detected and marked by the AutoGCPs functionality. These points are displayed in yellow.

Warning:

If the AutoGCPs detection fails and no points are found, the GCP layer will not be visible.
If the AutoGCPs detection does not find all the control points specified by the user, the GCP layer will display all the GCPs anyway. More information on AutoGCPs detection failures in Detection of the GCPs failed.

Note: When sharing a project, the GCP layer will also be available, if present, from the sharing URL.
