The project owner can export PIX4Dcloud inputs, outputs, and reports.
To export the files:
- Open an already created dataset.
- Go to Files > Results. Alternatively, click Download. The list of downloadable items is displayed.
- Follow the specific workflow for the download according to the needed result.
Important: The download does not start immediately for the Input files and the results folder, but an email with the downloadable folder is sent when this one is ready.
The file is downloaded on the local device and can be opened in third-party software.
Warning: It is possible that trying to unzip the results with the default Windows unzip program does not let you perform this action as : is present in some project names. In that case, it is recommended alternatively to install the 7zip tool and try again.
Hi, Is it possible to reduce the files so they get smaller? Point cloud (.las) and geotiff are like 1 gb rigt now.
Hi Sven,
This is not possible at the moment. Do you have issues downloading the files?
No, but the files are big and hard to wortk with in autocad.
Hi Alice, I have a License for Pix4D valid for a year but I am unable to download the software. Kindly Assist.
Hi Sven,
We developed Pix4Dsurvey that helps to bridge the gap between photogrammetry project and CAD software.
It also includes a feature Grid of Points that helps to automate the creation of spot elevations and allow drastic simplification of the number of point cloud points. The result of the Grid of Points process can be exported in .dxf and .shp format.
Feel free to download it and give it a try,
Best,
Hi Blaz, I have a License for Pix4D Cloud Advanced valid for a year but I am unable to download the software. Kindly Assist
Hello Mulenga,
Pix4Dcloud Advanced is a Cloud application which doesn't require any software download. You can access Pix4Dcloud Advanced at this link and log in with the credentials of your Pix4D account. I suggest that you also have a look at our Getting started online guide.
