PIX4Dmapper End-of-Support timeline

In October 2026, PIX4D announced the End-of-Sale and End-of-Support dates for PIX4Dmapper.  This article details the timeline for the End-of-Sale and End-of-Support for PIX4Dmapper

As part of the phasing out of PIX4Dmapper, please find below the detailed timeline for End-of-Sales and End-of-Support. 

  • End-of-Sales: PIX4Dmapper will no longer be sold or renewed as of January 1, 2027.

  • End-of-Support: Technical support access for PIX4Dmapper, as defined at https://pix4d.com/support, will permanently cease on December 1, 2027.
    • Pixie will continue to provide ongoing automated troubleshooting and resource guidance 24/7.
    • Documentation, tutorial videos, and the community will remain available until further notice, as free support services (see https://www.pix4d.com/support/).

  • Migration path: We have designed a seamless path forward. PIX4Dmatic licenses will be able to open PIX4Dmapper to ensure continuity during this transitional phase. This cross-product access will end on December 1, 2027.
    PIX4Dmapper projects can be opened in PIX4Dmatic following the workflow defined in this article.

We strongly encourage a proactive transition to PIX4Dmatic before the End-of-Support date to avoid potential risks, including security vulnerabilities, compatibility issues with future OS/hardware updates, and compliance exposure.
