I can't insert Ground Control Points (GCPs) with more than 3 decimals - PIX4Dmapper
IN THIS ARTICLE
Problem description
In some cases, PIX4Dmapper does not allow the entry of Ground Control Points (GCPs) coordinates with more than 3 decimal values in the GCP/MTP Table in the GCP/MTP Manager window.
Cause
This is not a problem but, it is an expected behavior. Most likely, the selected GCP Coordinate system is set to a projected Coordinate Reference System (CRS) in meters or feet, but you are trying to enter coordinates in a Geographic Coordinate System.
The projected Coordinate Systems allow for 3-digit decimal points
The geographic Coordinate System allows for more decimal points
Solution
Select the GCP Coordinate System to match your actual measured GCPs. In some cases, in particular when switching between Projected and Geographic CRS, it is needed to close the GCP/MTP manager window and open it again.
