Depth point cloud
The point cloud generated from LiDAR depth maps.
We recommend using it:
- To get a quick overview of the project. The depth point cloud generation is relatively fast compared to the Calibrate and Densify step but still gives a good overview if the data acquisition is good.
- To combine it with the dense point cloud to get a more complete fused point cloud. More information in the Depth and Dense fusion article.
