New site - PIX4Dcloud
A site in PIX4Dcloud Pro is a collection of datasets from a specific location or project area. Sites enable timeline-based visualization, comparison of datasets over time, and access to Pro-exclusive features such as advanced monitoring and design overlay tools. This article explains why and when to create a site and provides step-by-step instructions for creating new sites in PIX4Dcloud Pro.
Licenses: This article is only valid for PIX4Dcloud Pro licenses (formerly PIX4Dcloud Advanced).
Roles: Only Owners, Managers, and Editors can create or manage sites in PIX4Dcloud Pro.
Video: The following video tutorial explains step-by-step how to organize Sites within PIX4Dcloud Advanced.
Why create a site
A site groups multiple datasets in a single location and allows them to take advantage of features exclusive to PIX4Dcloud Pro, including:
-
Timeline-based dataset navigation
-
Design overlay and comparison tools
-
2D/3D time-based visualization

-
Users who previously had a Pro license and now have a Starter license retain access to previously created sites but cannot create new sites.
