Software Download and Installation

Important: Internet connection is required to download and install the software.

Download the software following:

1. Go to:
2. Under the section Pix4Dmapper click Download.

Once the software has been downloaded, install it using the following steps:

1. Double click the downloaded file. The Pix4Dmapper Setup wizard starts.
2. (optional): If the Open file - Security Warning pop-up appears, click Run.

3. In the Pix4Dmapper Setup pop-up, in the Welcome to the Pix4Dmapper Setup Wizard screen, click Next >.
4. (optional) Click Browse... to change the destination path for the installation and click Next >.

5. Click Install.

6. (optional) In the software information window: "Do you want to allow the following program to install software on this computer?", Click Yes.
7. Click Finish.
8. A shortcut is created on your desktop and the software opens automatically once the installation is completed.

9. The first time the software opens, the Pix4Ddesktop Login window appears:
(If a proxy server is used to connect to internet, click Proxy... and follow these instructions: How to set up the Proxy Server Configuration)


 10. Type the Email and Password of the account and click Login

Note: If you do not have an account:

1. Click Sign up now.

2. Complete the online form.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to activate the account. Open the email and click Confirm my email.

4. Go back to the Pix4Ddesktop Login window, type the Email and Password and click Login. 

11. Read the End-User License Agreement, select "I accept the terms in the License Agreement" and click Next.

12. Select:

    • Request Pix4Dmapper Pro now (Free Trial) to activate a one-time 15-days trial.
    • Use Pix4Ddiscovery, to activate the limited version. For more information: Pix4Ddiscovery / Discovery mode.

13. Click OK.

 Pix4Dmapper is now ready for processing!

    Hello guys,

    I am in a period of evaluation between couple of photogrammetry software. 

    My point is to calculate volume of raw material piles.

    In your trial version of the Mapper the Volume menu and optionality is not active. 

    Please advice how to proceed in order to test the volume calculation in Pix4D mapper.

    Also I had my second license expired and now it is not possible to continue with a third one.

    Hi all,

    Pavel, please check out our post regarding Pix4Dmapper on macOS. This link will also lead to the latest installation file.

    Tihomir, since your trial has expired, you can only use now the Pix4D Discovery mode where the 3 step is disabled.

    My advice is to go at the bottom of this page and try now our Pix4Dbim free trial.

    Hi again and thank you about the prompt response!

    When I go to the page for trying the Pix4Dbim free trial the system says that I dont have a valid license or something like this.

    Please confirm that the volume measurement is not included in the trial of the Mapper.

    Advice how to proceed further

    Hi Tihomir, 

    I checked in our system. The Pix4Dbim trial is ready for you. You have 30 days to try this software.

    The volume tab IS included in the trial of Pix4Dmapper, but not in Pix4D Discovery mode.

    Estimados, en el mes de agosto de 2019 se adquirió 2 licencias de PIX4D Mapper a nombre del Servicio Aerofotogramétrico de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile, las cuales por motivos que se desconocen no pudieron ser validadas.  Se han realizado múltiples esfuerzos, incluidos des instalaciones y borrados de registro.  Se dio la opción de conectarse a nuestros equipos mediante escritorio remoto y aún así no ha sido posible utilizar las licencias adquiridas.

    Necesito un pronunciamiento para que durante el mes de noviembre queden funcionando las licencias, se sugiere que se generen unos nuevos códigos y que sean dados de baja los anteriores, de manera de a partir de cero volver a intentar la instalación del producto adquirido.

    Favor de confirmar la recepción de este mensaje.

    I am trying to sign into Pix4D application for the first time and I am getting a message that says, "Error e0706c: Could not authenticate. Check your internet connection. Failure: SSL handshake failed". Any advice on how to remedy this issue?

    Hola estoy intentando bajar el modo prueba del producto, pero cuando bajo el programa y lo ejecuto me dice que no es compatible con mi sistema operativo. Yo tengo windows 10 y a paser de eso no lo puedo usar.

    Cómo podría solucionar el problema?

    I've installed the certificates as described 

    The computer is behind a firewall so we added rules for incoming and outgoing TCP and UPD traffic on all ports but I keep on getting the e0705 error when trying to open Pix4DMapper.Any ideas?

    Hi there. I would recommend you open a support request and send any error screenshots/logs along for us to review.
