How to check the upload status on PIX4Dcloud
This article explains how users can monitor the upload status of images and processed results in PIX4Dcloud and PIX4Dcloud Pro. It details the steps to track uploads, resume interrupted uploads, and manage multiple datasets simultaneously.
Licenses: This article is valid for PIX4Dcloud Starter and PIX4Dcloud Pro licenses (formerly PIX4Dcloud Advanced).
Roles: Only Owners, Managers, and Editors can create and process datasets in PIX4Dcloud.
Uploading images
To upload images for processing in PIX4Dcloud:

Create a new dataset.

During Step 2: Image selection, select Upload images for processing.

After creating the dataset, the upload of the selected images starts automatically.
Important notes:

Clicking CLOSE in the Uploads pop-up only hides the pop-up and does not interrupt the upload.

The Uploads pop-up displays the number of active and recent uploads. Click
a dataset to view the files it contains. -
Multiple projects can be uploaded simultaneously.

Navigating within PIX4Dcloud does not interfere with ongoing uploads.

Leaving the PIX4Dcloud page interrupts the upload, similar to clicking CANCEL UPLOAD, but images already uploaded remain in the dataset. Additional images can be added later, and processing can be triggered.

Adding more images:

Navigate to Files > Images in the dataset.

Click Upload Files to add additional images.

Once all images are uploaded, click Start Processing.
Note: Uploaded images cannot be removed from the dataset. Processed results, however, can be replaced.
Uploading processed results
To upload already processed results:

Create a new dataset.

During Step 2: Image selection, select Upload processed results.

Select the files to upload. Once the dataset is created, the upload starts automatically.

Upload status icons
During the upload, the following icons indicate the status of each file:

| Successfully uploaded | Files is ready for processing | |
| Uploading | Currently being uploaded | |
| Waiting | Waiting to be uploaded. Can be removed by clicking Delete. | |
| Duplicate | Identified as duplicate. A file cannot be uploaded twice: click Delete to remove | |
| Failed | Upload failed. Click RETRY ALL to attempt again. |
Tips for managing uploads

If START PROCESSING AUTOMATICALLY was disabled or the upload was interrupted, users can resume uploads:

Navigate to the project.

In Files & Reports > Images, click Upload Files to add missing images.

Click Start Processing to initiate processing.

After uploading and starting processing, the Uploads pop-up shows the estimated waiting and processing time. Users receive an email notification when the project status updates.
