Error message

When attempting to process images from a camera not listed in the official PIX4Dfields database, the following error message will appear:

"Camera not officially supported
R01120: This camera is not officially supported, please double check the results carefully. Large location errors are possible."

Description

When a camera is not included in the official supported camera database, PIX4Dfields utilizes the embedded EXIF metadata embedded in the images to determine the sensor characteristics. It specifically examines the following tags to accurately identify and estimate the sensor information:

Basic information for camera model assignment
Either:
Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneResolutionUnit and either Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneXResolution or Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneYResolution

Or:

Exif.Photo.FocalLength and Exif.Photo.FocalLengthIn35mmFilm
