Volume tab turns black - PIX4Dmapper

In some circumstances and combinations of hardware, the volume tab might become black, not allowing a correct computation of volumes. To solve this, the Graphics settings must be changed

Description

In some circumstances and combinations of hardware, the volume tab might become black, not allowing a correct computation of volumes. The entire "objects" tab turns black, and in some cases, it is flickering. This is happening in versions earlier than PIX4Dmapper 4.8.0.

Resolution

The issue with the black volume tab was fixed with PIX4Dmapper 4.8.0 (PIX4Dmapper technical release notes).

If updating to PIX4Dmapper 4.8.0 does not solve the issue, you can also try the following procedure in order to fix the problem:

  1. Close PIX4Dmapper if running.
  2. On your computer, go to System > Display > Graphics and browse PIX4Dmapper.exe (typically found in " C:\Program Files\Pix4Dmapper ") if not already appearing in the app list.
  3. Click Options and select High Performance.
  4. Open PIX4Dmapper and calculate the volume.
