Updates to PIX4Dcloud Plans for 2026

This article outlines the upcoming evolution of PIX4Dcloud plans that will take effect in early 2026. It explains the new plan structure, what users can expect, and the benefits included in this transition.

What’s changing?

From January 2026, Pix4D updates the PIX4Dcloud plan names to simplify navigation and provide clearer distinctions between core and advanced capabilities.

The update forms part of a broader strategic initiative across the entire Pix4D product ecosystem in 2026.

The new plan structure consists of two main options:

  • PIX4Dcloud Starter: Focused on essential cloud processing and sharing capabilities, including core outputs and collaboration tools. It corresponds with the current PIX4Dcloud Basic.

  • PIX4Dcloud Pro: Designed for users who require advanced processing options, analysis tools, and comprehensive project management features. It corresponds with the current PIX4Dcloud Advanced.

Impact on current licenses and feature access

The update is scheduled to take place during the week of January 5, 2026 and access remains unchanged, no functionality is removed or limited during this transition.

  • Current PIX4Dcloud Basic licenses (plans or subscriptions) will be PIX4Dcloud Starter. The licenses will retain all the features they already use today. 
  • Current PIX4Dcloud Advanced licenses (plans or subscriptions) will be PIX4Dcloud Pro. The licenses will retain all the features they already use today. 

Users are not required to take any action—the transition occurs automatically and without workflow interruption. The only visible change is the new plan name displayed in the user’s account.
