Settings Restrictions in PIX4Dcatch

The Settings Restrictions feature allows users to hide specific app settings within PIX4Dcatch.

The Settings Restrictions feature allows users to hide specific app settings within PIX4Dcatch, reducing the risk of unintended changes or misconfiguration during field data capture. These restrictions are applied at the device level and are not tied to individual user accounts. As a result, this functionality operates independently of Organization Management or Team Access Control.

How it works

To use the Settings Restrictions feature follow the next steps:

  1. Open the main menu.
  2. Tap the Settings Restrictions.

           3. Review the available settings and toggle those to be blocked.

    • Block re-upload: When enabled, it prevents a project from being re-uploaded to PIX4Dcloud.  Re-uploading a project to PIX4Dcloud will consume additional credits.
    • Hide NTRIP CRS Selection: Prevents selection of the Input Coordinate Reference System in the NTRIP settings. The field will be hidden.
