Who is affected?
-
Users who previously created and saved flight plans under user-based accounts in PIX4Dcapture Pro.
-
Users who were recently migrated to organization-based accounts (organization management).
What happened?
As part of an infrastructure-wide account system migration, all PixD users were moved from individual (user-based) accounts to organization-based accounts.
As a result:
-
Previously saved flight plans are no longer accessible within the app.
-
The data associated with those plans cannot be recovered.
-
There is no planned fix or update to restore the missing flight plans.
Is there a workaround?
No. At this time, there is no workaround or manual method to retrieve flight plans saved prior to the account migration.
We understand the inconvenience this causes and deeply regret the disruption.
Important context
PIX4Dcapture Pro is currently still listed in our product portfolio, but active development has been discontinued. This includes:
-
No new feature development
-
No bug fixes
-
No infrastructure-related updates or support for changes such as account migrations
An official announcement will be communicated to all users in the coming months with more information about the app’s status and recommendations for alternative solutions.
What should you do next?
We recommend:
-
Saving current mission data externally, where applicable.
-
Exploring alternative flight planning apps. Recommendations will be provided in the upcoming communication.
Note: We understand that this is not the experience you expected, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your continued trust and understanding as we transition toward better-supported solutions.
