I cannot select my drone/camera - PIX4Dcapture Pro

In some situations, selecting a specific drone or camera when creating a mission may not be possible. This article outlines the potential causes and available solutions.

Problem description

A specific drone or camera cannot be selected when creating a mission.

Drone not available to select

Cause

When using a smartphone or tablet to select a drone, those that necessitate an APK installed on the controller will not be displayed. (a compatibility list is available here: Supported drones, cameras, and controllers - PIX4Dcapture Pro).

This applies to the following DJI Drones:

• DJI Mavic 3E
• DJI Mavic 3T
• DJI Mavic 3M
• DJI Mini 3
• DJI Mini 3 Pro

Solution

Camera not available to select

Cause

When using drones with a thermal camera (DJI Mavic 3T, Anafi USA, Anafi Thermal), only the RGB camera can be selected.

Solution

Select the RGB camera instead.
