What is PIX4Dcatch Professional

PIX4Dcatch Professional provides access to advanced in-app features designed to enhance data capture and field workflows. These premium features include:

• Connectivity to supported RTK devices
• Direct export to PIX4Dcloud
• Augmented Reality (AR) visualization tools
• Volume computation tools

Processing Licenses Required

PIX4Dcatch Professional does not include processing capabilities. It unlocks advanced features within the mobile application only. To process captured data, a separate Pix4D processing license (paid or trial) is required. The required license depends on where the processing is performed:

• Cloud processing: Requires a PIX4Dcloud Starter, Professional, or trial license
• Local / desktop processing:  Requires a PIX4Dmatic Standard, Professional, or trial license

Trial Access

• New Pix4D users receive temporary access to PIX4Dcatch Professional features but must sign up for a PIX4Dcloud or PIX4Dmatic trial to enable processing.
• Existing Pix4D customers with an active subscription or a One-Time Charge (OTC) license with valid Support and Upgrade (S&U) are eligible for a one-time trial license, which can be used alongside their current Pix4D products for processing.

How to get a trial of PIX4Dcatch Professional

New Accounts

 Launch the PIX4Dcatch application and tap “Start trial” to begin.

   

Sign up

It is necessary to create a Pix4D user account. This can be created either via a web browser or directly through the PIX4Dcatch application.

Web browser

Follow the next steps:

1. Navigate to the sign-up page.
   2. Complete the sign-up form.
   3. Review and accept the Terms Of Service, and Software EULA.
   4. Review and accept the Privacy Policy.
   5. Click Continue.
   6. Review the Privacy Settings.
   7. Click Save.

Important: When the sign-up is completed, click the activate account button in the email sent to the selected email address and start using Pix4D products.

Device

1. Launch the PIX4Dcatch application and tap the settings menu icon .

         

             

1. Tap on Create account.
   
   
2. Complete the sign-up form.
3. Review and accept the Terms Of Service, and Software EULA.
4. Review and accept the Privacy Policy.
5. Click Continue.
6. Review the Privacy Settings.
7. Click Save.

Existing Accounts

Existing Pix4D users are eligible for a one-time trial license for PIX4Dcatch.  This allows for capturing data in PIX4Dcatch and processing in their current Pix4D product.

Follow the next steps: 

1. Download and install the application.
2. Launch PIX4Dcatch.
3. Tap “Try it for free” to begin.

           

      4.   Use the Pix4D account to log in.

 

Log in

Use the existing or newly created Pix4D account to log in to the software.

1. Click on Log in in the settings menu.
   
   
2. Enter the Email and click Continue.
3. Enter the Password and click Log in.

How to Cancel Your Trial via Apple Store

When a trial subscription has started through the Apple App Store, it can be canceled using the iOS device's Settings app:

1. Go to Settings .
2. Tap ID Apple (your name at the top).
3. Tap Subscription.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription.
