How to export boundaries to DJI Pilot app in PIX4Dfields

With the release of PIX4Dfields 2.8, boundaries can now be exported directly to the DJI Pilot app, to be used by the Mavic 3 Multispectral and other drones, making it easier than ever to integrate data and streamline workflows.

Create and export a boundary

  1. Click Boundaries.
  2. Click the Draw boundaries icon.
  3. Select Boundary.

  4. Obstacles will not be included in the exported Boundary. 
  5. Go to Export, Boundaries.
  6. Select the Boundary. 
  7. Select KML.
  8. Move the exported KML into a microSD / USB stick.

Import into DJI Pilo 2 app

  1. Insert the microSD / USB stick into the Remote Controller.
  2. Go to Mision Flight.
  3. Select KML import.
  4. Select Mapping
  5. Click External SD and select the Boundary.
  6. Click on the imported Boundary.
