How to download the last stable version available of a Pix4D software in case of an expired Support and Upgrade (S&U)

Perpetual licenses with expired Support and Upgrade (S&U) do not allow users to use the latest version of Pix4D software. However, users can still use the latest stable version of the software, which is available to them according to their license.

This article explains how to find and download the latest stable version of the software that can be used by a user according to the expiration date of the S&U.

Note: This procedure is valid only for desktop software. It is not possible to download previous versions of mobile device apps.

In the case of One-Time Charge licenses (OTC) paired with a valid S&U, the user can the latest stable and preview versions of the software.

In the case of an expired S&U, users can access the latest stable version of the software that was available the moment of the S&U expiration.

PIX4Dmapper

In the specific case of PIX4Dmapper, if a user is trying to log in on a newer version that their license is allowing, the "OK" button during the log in and license selection appears gray.

Resolution

To download the latest stable version of the software available for your license, please follow this procedure:

  • (if needed) If a newer, unsupported version is currently installed, uninstall it.
  • Open the Pix4D account page and log in  using the associated account credentials.
  • Under Your organizations, select the Dashboard of the organization that holds the license(s).
  • Then, on the left sidebar, select Download software.

  • Under Your products, locate the desired product. A personalized download button will be available for the latest version accessible with the license.
