Folder in PIX4Dcloud

Folders help you organize datasets, sites, and other folders in the PIX4Dcloud Drive. Use folders to structure your projects and make it easier to find and manage related items.

Licenses: This article is valid for all PIX4Dcloud licenses. 

 Roles: Owners, Managers, and Editors can create and modify folders. 

What is a Folder?

Folders are used to organize datasets and sites within the Drive. A folder can contain:

  • Other folders

  • Sites

  • Datasets

Create a folder

  1. In the Drive, select New folder.

  2. Enter a folder name.

  3. Select Create.

Move items to a folder

  1. Items can be moved individually or in bulk.

    Single item:

    1. Select the more options (⋮) menu on a dataset, site, or folder.

    2. Select Move to a folder.

    3. Choose the destination folder or open it and select Move here.

    Multiple items:

    1. Select the checkboxes of the desired datasets, sites, or folders.

    2. Select Move to.

    3. Navigate to the destination folder and confirm.

Note: Moving a folder also moves all of its contents.
