It is possible to assign a Site Localization to a new or existing “Point CRS” collection and get the local equivalent coordinate system for every measured or imported point. Coordinates will be computed automatically according to the site localization selected.

Assign Site Localization to a New Point Collection
Measure or import new points using a site localization file. All the points in the new collection will be site localized in the process.
- From the Point Management dialog, create a new point collection by tapping the
button.

- Name the Point Collection.
- Select Point CRS.
- Tap the Site Localization arrow
menu.
- Choose a Site Localization collection.

- Select the appropriate Site Localization collection.
- The selected site localization will appear near the top of the Point Collection with the Coordinate Reference System selected for the global points.
Point Collection ready to import and measure points.
It is now possible to
Import Points and measure new global points
using the appropriate selection. Once a new point has been imported or measured, a corresponding local point will also be created.

- Tap the global point to view the local transformation. Selecting the Local Position tab will display the local coordinates computed automatically according to the site localization selected.

Assign Site localization to an Existing Point Collection
It is easy to assign a site localization to an existing Point Collection.
- From an existing Point Collection, tap the menu icon
in the upper right of the screen.

- Select the appropriate Site Localization.

- Tap the global point to view the local transformation. Selecting the Local Position tab will display the local coordinates computed automatically according to the site localization selected.

Remove Site Localization
It is possible to remove Site Localization previously assigned to a Point Collection.
- From a Site Localized Point Collection, tap the menu icon
in the upper right of the screen.

- Confirm by tapping REMOVE in the warning dialog.
