With its autonomous missions, this easy-to-use solution is a scalable product with professional outputs, including RTK compatibility. Suitable for every industry, PIX4Dcapture Pro is available for tablets and mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems.
What is the difference between PIX4Dcapture and PIX4Dcapture Pro?
PIX4Dcapture Pro is the continuation of the PIX4Dcapture flight app. Both applications differ in relation to different aspects.
Please visit our Differences between PIX4Dcapture and PIX4Dcapture Pro article for detailed information.
What are the versions of PIX4Dcapture Pro?
PIX4Dcapture Pro provides two modes: Discovery and Professional.
For more information, please visit our Licensing model - PIX4Dcapture Pro article.
Which Generic missions are available in PIX4Dcapture Pro?
PIX4Dcapture Pro provides support for three different Generic Mission: Grid, Orbit and Cylinder mission. Those generic missions can be used for multiple purposes.
For more information on generic missions, please visit our Mission types - PIX4Dcapture Pro article.
What are the specific Inspection features available in PIX4Dcapture Pro?
PIX4Dcapture Pro provides support for Cell Tower and Transmission Towers asset types. They are composed of specific missions optimizing the 3D reconstruction and visual inspection of those assets.
For more information on asset types, please visit our Mission types - PIX4Dcapture Pro article.
What is the Cell Tower asset in PIX4Dcapture Pro?
The Cell Tower asset is specifically intended for inspecting cell towers. It aims to efficiently capture the components and geometries of this asset type by applying multiple 3D Model and Visual Inspection missions: Helix, Orbit, Cylinder, Single vertical, Underneath orbit, Orbit line of sight, and Manual images.
More information about the Cell Tower asset can be found in Mission types and How to scan cell towers.
What is the Transmission Tower asset in PIX4Dcapture Pro?
The Transmission Tower asset is specifically intended for inspecting transmission towers. It aims to efficiently capture the components and geometries of this asset type by applying multiple 3D Model and Visual Inspection missions: Orbit, Single vertical, Underneath orbit, and Manual images.
More information about the Transmission Tower asset can be found in Mission types and How to scan transmission towers.
Which camera settings can I modify?
It is possible to customize the camera white balance (WB) and exposure value (EV) in the flight view when the drone is not on a mission (manual flight or mission paused).
Additionally, recommended presets can be found here.
Other camera parameters like focus and shutter speed are automatically managed by PIX4Dcapture Pro to optimize 3D model creation and cannot be modified.
In which languages is PIX4Dcapture Pro available?
PIX4Dcapture Pro is available in the following languages: English, French, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Which operating system is supported by PIX4Dcapture Pro?
