      Is an Internet connection needed? - PIX4Dcapture Pro

      Other than for logging in, the internet connection in the field is not a strict requirement, but it is recommended to have it.

      It is needed, in detail, in the following situations:

      • To log in to the app. For more information: Manual - PIX4Dcapture Pro.
      • (DJI) The first time that the app is opened to activate the DJI SDK.
      • (DJI) From time to time when opening the app to activate again the DJI SDK.
      • To update the latest version of the app.
      • To update the drone and remote controller firmware (done outside PIX4Dcapture Pro).

      • To download plans from Mission planner. For more information: Getting started - Mission planner.
