What is Mission planner?

Mission planner is a cloud platform that allows users to create and manage projects and flight missions to be synchronized with PIX4Dcapture Pro, allowing them to execute them with the different supported drone models. 

How can I access Mission Planner?

Mission Planner is accessible from the Mission Planner link on the top-right corner of the PIX4Dcloud platform. 

To be able to use Mission Planner, a PIX4Dcloud or PIX4Dcloud Advanced license is needed. For more information, check our PIX4Dcloud pricing plans here Pricing plans for PIX4Dcloud platform 

Which internet browser and operative systems supports Mission planner? 

The following browsers are officially supported for Mission planner on Windows 10+ and MacOS:

  • Chrome (latest version)
  • Firefox (latest version)
  • Microsoft Edge (latest version)
  • Safari (latest version)

In which languages is Mission planner available?

Mission planner is available in the following languages: English, French, Japanese, Spanish, German, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Portuguese.  

Which drones does Mission planner support?

Mission planner is compatible with drones supported by PIX4Dcapture Pro. For more information, see PIX4Dcapture Pro supported drones, cameras, and controllers.

What is the price of Mission planner?

The Mission planner tool comes for free with your PIX4Dcloud subscription and enables you to plan drone flights from a laptop rather than on a mobile device. How to fly a mission?

To open and fly a planned mission, please go to PIX4Dcapture Pro app and import the desired plan.

How many plans or missions can I create? 

There is no limit in the number of plans or missions. 

What happens to my data when my license expires? 

When the license is expired the data can still be accessed, but any actions such as create, delete or edit will be blocked.
