What's new

  • Menu action to open the project in Pix4Dsurvey. 

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Added dense point cloud, DSM, and Orthomosaic export duration time to the log file.
  • Added available disk space to the log file. 
  • Removed the error icon in the project tab after the Orthomosaic processing is canceled.
  • The processing steps are not selected by default. 

Known issues

  • In certain cases, the Orthomosaic has missing parts. We recommend using a previous version if you encounter this issue. A fix is going to be published in the next release.

  • Support of the RTK/PPK workflow.
  • Support new EXIF tags recognition for automatic identification of horizontal (HorizCS) and vertical (VertCS) coordinate system for the images.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Adjust the accuracy of the image geolocation based on the values in the EXIF of the images.
  • Added new information to the quality report such as processing settings, number of points in the point cloud, resolution of results, time for processing.
  • GeoTIFF location is now correct for left-handed coordinate systems.
  • Improved export file size estimation for DSM and Orthomosaic.
  • Improved display in the Home screen of existing projects.
  • Added GPU, CPU, RAM, and OS information to the log file.

Known issues

  • Left-handed coordinate reference systems and non-isometric compound coordinate reference systems are not properly supported and should not be used. Whereas the calibration and densification may succeed and appear correct, the data exports include an incorrect offset which makes them unusable in other software. This includes the importing of Pix4Dmatic projects in Pix4Dsurvey. Fixed in 1.2.1.
