Keyboard shortcuts - PIX4Dmatic

PIX4Dmatic supports the use of shortcuts to make you more efficient at doing certain tasks. Shortcuts are especially useful when marking tie points.

The following shortcuts are available:

Open project Ctrl + O ⌘ + O  
Save project Ctrl + S ⌘ + S  
Close project Ctrl + W or Ctrl + F4 ⌘ + W Close the current project. In the case of unsaved changes, an additional pop-up is displayed
Exit software Alt + F4 ⌘ + Q In the case of unsaved changes, an additional pop-up is displayed
Menu bar Alt + F (File)
Alt + E (Edit)
Alt + P (Process)
Alt + V (View)
Alt + W (Window)
Alt + H (Help)
Alt + T (Tools)
⌘ + Q In the case of unsaved changes, an additional pop-up is displayed
Open the PIX4D Support website F1 ⌘ + ?  
 
Edit Undo the previous action Ctrl + Z ⌘ + Z Revert the last action(s)
Redo the previous action Ctrl + Y or Ctrl + Shift + Z ⌘ + ⇧ + Z Revert the last Undo(s). The function is only available after the Undo command
Deselect object Esc Esc To deselect the scene object
Delete the selected object Del, or backspace Del, or backspace An object needs to be selected
 
View Hide all panels Ctrl + Shift + H ⌘ + ⇧ + H To close all panels and display only the 3D view
Switch to 2D 2 2 Switch to the 2D view (DSM and orthomosaic)
Switch to 3D 3 3 Switch to the 3D view
View all/td Ctrl + 1 ⌘ + 1 The scene is zoomed out to the whole extent
Focus on selection Ctrl + 2 ⌘ + 2 Zoom in on the selected object
Top view 7 7 View from the top. The scene is zoomed out to the whole extent
 
Window Minimize Ctrl + M ⌘ + M To minimize PIX4Dmatic
Show next tab Ctrl + Tab ⌃ + Tab To move to the next project in the project bar
Show previous tab Ctrl + Shift + Tab ⌃ + ⇧ + Tab To move to the previous project in the project bar
 
Tools Select S S To select the Select tool
Rectangle Selection R R To enable the rectangle selection tool
Polygon selection J J Enable the Polygon selection tool
Object selection Y Y To enable the Object selection tool
Polygon P P To enable the Polygon tool
Polygon hole H H To enable the Polygon hole tool
Distance D D To enable the Distance tool
Scale Constraint T T To begin drawing a Scale constraint
Orientation Constraint G G To begin drawing an Orientation constraint tool
Region of Interest O O To create a delimiting region that restricts the extent of outputs
Region of interest - delete selected region Del Del After enabling Region of interest (O), press the Del key to delete the selected region
Region of interest - cancel the creation Esc Esc After enabling Region of interest (O), press the Esc key to cancel the creation of the ROI
Region of interest - confirm the share Enter Return After enabling Region of interest (O), press the Enter/Return key to complete and confirm the shape of the ROI
 
Marking Maximize image viewer Ctrl + F ⌘ + F To maximize or minimize the image viewer.
Fullscreen Space bar Space bar To enter and exit the full-screen marking mode. An image needs to be selected or hovered over for the shortcut to work. 
Next/ previous image ←, → ←, → To move to the next or previous images in the image list.
Re-sort the image list Ctrl + R ⌘ + R To re-sort the image list. The already marked images appear on the top of the list
Minimum zoom Ctrl + 1 ⌘ + 1 To jump to the minimum zoom level. All images are completely zoomed out
Maximum zoom Ctrl + 2 ⌘ + 2 To jump to the maximum zoom level. All images are zoomed in. When a mark is available, the image is zoomed into the center of the mark
Zoom in/out images Alt + scroll wheel Option + scroll wheel To zoom in and out of all images at once
