Failed to log in - R0081: Could not log in. Failed to send verification email - R0082 - PIX4Dfields

Error

When logging in to PIX4Dfields, the following error appears:

"Failed to Login: R0081: Could not log in. Please verify your email to confirm your account."

If clicking the Resend button, the following error appears:

"Failed to send verification email. R0082: Could not send verification email. Please check your email and network connection."

Description and causes

The Pix4D account cannot be activated because the activation email with the activation link has not been delivered to the inbox. The main cause can be a typo in the email address or a filter in the email inbox.

Solutions

Verify the spelling of the email address

Please ensure that the email address you entered is valid and typed correctly. The activation email has been sent to the address shown on the "You are almost done!" page, as shown in the image below.

Verify your inbox filters and rules

If the email address used is valid, another issue may prevent our email from reaching you.

  • Noreply email: Some businesses are automatically blocking all messages coming from "norepy" email. Our messages are sent by noreply@pix4d.com. Ensure with your IT system administrator that an exception for noreply@pix4d.com is created. After that, you can click on Resend email.
  • Filters: Ensure no filter prevents our emails from appearing in your inbox. If you use Gmail, you can access the filters from this link.
  • Spam: Ensure the message is not in the Spam / undesired / junk folder.

Warning: Although Error R0082 appears in PIX4Dfields, the email might have been sent. Please check your inbox and spam.

Tip: You can perform a global search in your entire inbox (all folders) by searching for noreply@pix4d.com the sender.

Tip: You can also search for an email using the subject line. The subject will be different depending on the language selected during the account creation:

  • English: Activate your Pix4D account
  • French: Activez votre compte Pix4D
  • German: Aktivieren Sie Ihr Pix4D-Konto
  • Japanese: Pix4Dアカウントの有効化
  • Italian: Attivare l'account Pix4D
  • Spanish: Activa tu cuenta Pix4D    

If you cannot find the confirmation email in your inbox, please contact the Pix4D support team. Make sure to select No product in particular as the product and Account / licenses / installation / login as the topic.
