How to see the settings of a project

1. Click the project menu at the bottom right corner of the project title settings.jpg.

Enter a name and description

After selection the settings icon, a sidebar opens, to display information about the project which can be edited to include name, description, crop information, project structure, and data handling.

  • Give a name and description of your project.

Add crop information to the project (crop type and crop variety)

Crop type

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to CROP INFORMATION.
3. Select the arrow besides Crop type.
4. Select the crop type of project e.g. MaizeRice.
5. (optional) To add a new crop type click on Edit Crop Types, write the New Crop Type, select ADD, and click DONE.
6. Select the new crop type of your project.

Crop variety

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to CROP INFORMATION.
3. Select the arrow besides Crop variety.
4. On the NEW CROP VARIETY  section write the desired name.
5. Click ADD.
6. (optional) To add a new crop variety click on Edit Crop Varieties, write the New Crop Variety, select ADD, and click DONE.
7. Click DONE.
8. Select the new crop variety.

Add a project structure

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to PROJECT STRUCTURE.
3. Select the arrow beside Client, Organization, or Farm.
4. Write the desired name to structure a project.
5. Click ADD.
6. (optional) To add a new Client, Organization or Farm click on Edit Client, Edit Organization or Edit Farm, write the names, select ADD, and click DON
7. Click DONE.
8. Select the new project structure.

Data handling

Synchronize

  • Click on Synchronize to share your project across multiple devices. For more information about data sync: here

Export a project

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to DATA HANDLING.
3. Click Export project.
4. Navigate to the folder where to store the project.
5. Click Select Folder.

 
Note:  The whole project will be exported as a (.p4r) format. After exporting, you can give this file to another user. The user needs to have a Pix4Dfields license. After double-clicking the .p4r, the project will appear in the dashboard of the other device.

Delete a project

1. Click the project menu.
2. Select the trash bin to delete a project.
