    • What are the requirements of a drone for Pix4DScan to be compatible with it?
    • In case the drone also has a thermal camera, is it possible for Pix4DScan to display the thermal view as well?
    • Is it possible not to use the predefined tower trajectory but to freely fly around?

  • Alice (Pix4D)

    Hi Roger,

At the moment Pix4Dscan does not support thermal cameras but we are interested in discussing further with you to better understand your use case. Could you please send us a support request at this link https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/requests/new? so that we can also clarify your additional doubts? Thank you

The program and workflow look great! When can we expect mavic 2 pro support? The PH4 pros are no longer in production.

  • Alice (Pix4D)

Hi, happy to read your positive comments!

We will add support for more drones soon and the Mavic 2 Pro is on our list but we cannot give you an estimate for when the new camera will be implemented in the app.

    Hi Alice,

Is Pix4D Scan compatible with Phantom 4 pro RTK yet?

  • Alice (Pix4D)

Hi Raphael, Pix4Dscan does not support the P4P RTK at the moment.

  • Raphael Atimbire

    Thank you.

I recently purchased the DJI Mavic Air 2 Pro with the 4K Hasselblad camera and the new Smart Controller.  Will your software work with this drone and the Smart Controller?  I believe that the Smart Controller has a built-in Android device built-in.  It is the more advanced controller and does not need a cellular phone nor a tablet.  Will it all work?  I want to do tower inspections.

does the PIX4Dscan is compatible with Phantom 4 PRO with a remote control that has a built in screen?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Alice (Pix4D)

Hi Michael Martin and Fernando Luís

The DJI Mavic Air 2 Pro and the new Smart controller are not supported at the moment.

The default remote controller is supported for the P4P as specified under the table of the article (the model is the GL300F).

Pix4Dscan is currently supported on iOS (iPad only). At the moment, we don't have any plan to support the product on android devices, if thing changes we will post it on our Support Page here.
