General aspects of the dashboard

What does the dashboard show?

1. The dashboard is the first screen that appears when opening Pix4Dfields after login.
2. The dashboard lists all the projects that have been created under the PROJECTS section.
3. Sample demo datasets are located under EXAMPLES.

Project settings

What does the project settings show?

1. Click the project menu at the bottom right corner of the project title.
2. A sidebar opens, to display information about the project which can be edited to include name, description, crop information, project structure, and data handling.

Select and modify the crop information

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to CROP INFORMATION.
3. Select the arrow besides Crop type.
4. Select the crop type of project e.g. MaizeRice.
5. (optional) To add a new crop type click on Edit Crop Types, write the New Crop Type, select ADD, and click DONE.
6. Select the new crop type of your project.

Add a crop variety

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to CROP INFORMATION.
3. Select the arrow besides Crop variety.
4. On the NEW CROP VARIETY  section write the desired name.
5. Click ADD.
6. Click DONE.
7. Select the new crop variety.

Add a project structure

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to PROJECT STRUCTURE.
3. Select the arrow beside Client, Organization, or Farm.
4. Write the desired name to structure a project.
5. Click ADD.
6. Click DONE.
7. Select the new project structure.

Export a project

1. Click the project menu.
2. Go to DATA HANDLING.
3. Click Export project.
4. Navigate to the folder where to store the project.
5. Click Select Folder.

Delete a project

1. Click the project menu.
2. Select the trash bim to delete a project.

Organize a project

To organize projects based on crop information or project structure

1. At the upper right corner of the dashboard, select ALL projects.
2. Click Farms, Clients, Organizations, Crop types, or Crop varieties to organize a project.
3. The projects will be grouped depending on the category that has been chosen.

To organize projects based on date or name

1. At the upper right corner of the dashboard, besides ALL projects.
2. Click Sort by date, Sort by date (reversed), Sort by name, or Sort by name (reversed).
3. The projects will be grouped depending on the category that has been chosen.

Help and resources

What does Help and resources show?

1. Click on the HELP AND RESOURCES icon at the upper right corner of the dashboard.
2. Information about Pix4Dfields appears as well as the used VERSION of the software.
3. (optional) On LEARN MORE links to webinars, knowledge base and contact support is available.

Settings menu

What do settings show?

App Settings

1. (optional) The Units of the project can be modified by selecting the Metric or Imperial units.
2. (optional) The app Theme can be toggling between Dark and Light theme.

Data Handling

1. Projects can be synchronized when sync is toggle on. To temporary disable, toggle off.
2. Change the location of the project by clicking on Select projects folder.

Account

1. Links to access the Manage Account, Licenses are available.
2. Click Log out to exit Pix4Dfields.

More

1. Links to access the TERMS OF USE, and PRIVACY POLICY is available.
2. Click ACKNOWLEDGMENTS to check the open-source technologies which Pix4Dfields uses.
