Hi Jimmy,
Thank you for contacting us.
To be able to help you the best way as possible, can you explain to us what is not working when following the above procedure to install the APKs on the CrystalSky? You can send us some screenshots if relevant.
Best,
Thank you for you answer the problem is that Ctrl+DJI never connected try to connecting but can`t the message NOT CONECTED show me, only PIX4DCAPTURE connect and I can see all funtion(I can see postion GPS of the drone, configureted a mission) but when I try to use in one mission message show me "Connected you equipament" or your Drone sometime like that then I can`t use pix4d.
In your list of compatible with Android https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/articles/203991609--Android-iOS-Which-drones-are-supported-by-Pix4Dcapture?fbclid=IwAR2IPaGI7dTrfPTG6RMTAqR71mGtMwEhsb78p_7zGQDtRDWmmTF9mAH_-3k you say that Phantom 4 pro +v2.0 no compatible, this is true?
Maybe I need to diseable the SW DJI GO CAPTURE.
Listen in a forum no offcial that reconfiguring with the ANDROID ADB in the CrystalSky can disable the DJIGO Capture and route everything through the pix4d, do you know any of this?
I am also having trouble with a Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0, there is a forum post linked showing a possible solution https://support.pix4d.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000253163-Phantom-4-Pro-?page=2#comments
However I believe that the video shows a non V2.0 drone as it is an obsidian model.
Is Pix4D compatible with the Phantom 4 Pro+ V2.0 controller?
As DJI advertises that they now allow 3rd party apps to be installed in the Pro+ V2.0 controller (verified by my testing) is there a version being developed to work with the Pro+ V2.0 controller?
Hi Jimmy & Dale,
About the Phantom 4 Pro + V2 (P4P+ V2), as you can see on our supported drones webpage, it is not supported by Pix4Dcapture at the moment and it is not in the pipeline to support it.
When I run P4DCapture on the CrystalSky, it immediately takes me to a PRIVACY SETTINGS page. It lists "Communication preferences" and "Data Privacy preferences", but no settings are displayed for either. There is a blue "UPDATE" button displayed, but when I click it, it says "Server Error, please try again". If I try to exit the page by clicking the arrow at the top left of the page, I get a popup message saying "Privacy settings not set Please set your privacy settings and press save". So, I'm unable to leave the page to access the app. I'm using the 7.85" CrystalSky, with wifi connected. How do I set (or skip) the privacy setting page?
I found the solution to my PRIVACY SETTING issue in a thread discussing a different problem. Reseting my Pix4D password eliminated the error.
Am only able to set one overlap in the app on Crystal Sky.
Hi Steve,
DJI Crystalsky uses the Android operating system so you can only set one overlap. When you set 80% overlap it means 80% front and 80% side overlap.
Is it possible that Pix4Dcapture for CrystalSky misses the setting needed to create a custom camera (resolution, focal lenght, etc) on a specific platform (i.e. Matrice 210)?
Hello Alessandro,
The CrystalSky is using an Android OS and then when installing the APKs on it, it is the Android version of Pix4Dcapture that is installed.
The custom camera functionality is only available on the iOS version of Pix4Dcapture and then you will not be able to use it with the CrystalSky.
Best,
Hello I tried to use pix4d on the Mavic 2 Pro Smart Remote Control but I always failed and I couldn't use the Pix4d. does it have a solution?
damkar
Hi Damkar,
The Smart controller is not similar to the DJI CrystalSky.
The DJI Smart Controller is currently not supported by Pix4Dcapture as you can see on our supported drones and cameras webpage. It is not in our pipeline to support it in the future for the moment.
Best,
Any way to change the base layer map provider? In New Zealand it is absolutely unusable.
Hi Colin,
You should be able to change the basemap provider following this procedure.
Also don't hesitate to have a look at this post on our community as it is explain how you can set google map as a basemap provider.
Best,
Hello,
i own DJI M210 drone equiped with DJI XT2 Camera.
I succeded in install and run Pix4d APK, but what camera do i have to set to use XT2 thermal sensor to make a 2D orthophoto?
Thanks
Hello Maverick. Currently, the DJI XT2 camera is not compatible with Pix4Dcapture. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Okay
I am having problems getting the maps to show up all together? got the app on the Crystalsky, then no maps in the mapping piece?
Still a problem . MavicAir /Crystal Sky
Just installed 4.5.0 (build 2421)
NO maps with Mapbox- Street or Satellite . Tried other options - no success
Did Google install . Still No maps ... BUT if I choose Free Flight Mission, tiles immediately load -indicating accurate location . Relatively lo res ( ~10m/pix ) but at least something . . Still nothing on other mission plan types.. even lo res would be better than the nothing I have now but not sufficient for the small missions where the AIR would be useful.
Open to any ideas.
