The log files are helpful to diagnose problems related to the app. It can be accessed following the procedure described below.
In Android, the log files are located in the Pix4D folder in the internal memory of the device. The path to the Pix4D folder is: ...\device_name\Internal storage\Pix4D. The log files can be found below the project folders and are named:
- Pix4Dmapper.log
- pix4dcapture.log
- ctrl_dji.log

In iOS, the files can be extracted directly from the device by using Pix4Dcapture.
Using this procedure an email, which contains all the basic information about the drone and the device, parameters of the last mission, and log files (.zip), is automatically generated:
- Open Pix4Dcapture.
- Tap TUTORIAL/HELP.
- Tap SEND ALL LOGS.

Hi, I conducted a flight on an Apple Ipad and need to download the flight log files (to assess some erratic behavior from the drone at the end of the flight)
I have followed the steps above- but nothing happens when I click the 'SEND ALL LOGS' link
Please advise
Hi Scott,
The logs can only be forwarded to technical support using the email address. The email address will be shared with the user if the technical support needs them to investigate an issue. The log files can't be exported to your general email. If you want to access the log file, I would suggest you to connect your phone to the iTunes, go to Apps>> Pix4Dcapture> Mission>> logs files.
Regards,
