Good day. When using pix4d capture. The program will stop showing the progress of the drone after 9- 10 minutes of flight. The screenlocks up. The drone continues the flight and then lands, without any issues. So far. I use a Android with version 7.1.1. some of the projects are large and being able to see the progress is crucial. Thanks

    Hi Gerald,

The picture triggering in Android devices is based on a time-lapse. Once the mission is uploaded successfully to the drone, there shouldn't be any issue for capturing the images even if the connection between the drone and remote controller freezes for a while.

It has been reported that the application could lag during a mission. For example, drone position can be frozen for seconds. It can be related to the mobile device itself as chipset/CPU architecture may probably induce this kind of behavior. It can also be related to the Android version installed on the phone/tablet.

You should follow the bellow workaround in case of application lagging.

    Workaround:

    • Force quit and restart Pix4Dcapture between missions.
    • Restart from scratch between missions.
    • Try another mobile device to see if the lag is still occurring.
