Menu Process > Send Map to eMotion Follow Index > Interface > Menu Process Previous | Next Access: On the Menu bar, click Process > Send Map to eMotion. Only available when eMotion (by senseFly) is installed on the same device and step 3. DSM, Orthomosaic and Index is generated. Important: It is possible to generate the map that will be sent to eMotion only if the output coordinate system is not set to arbitrary. When clicking Process > Send Map to eMotion, the Google Maps Tiles and KML are sent. I currently have a version 4.2.27 version Pix4d installed (which does not show the export tools for eMotion). I also have eMotion installed. Looking forward to your reply. Hendrik Jansen Teodora (Pix4D) May 27, 2019 14:01 Hi Hendrik, The export tool should be available for all Pix4Dmapper versions. As mentioned above, this tool is displayed if 2 conditions are being satisfied: eMotion is installed on the same device and step 3. DSM, Orthomosaic and Index is generated. Hope this helps. All the best, Teodora Hendrik Jansen May 29, 2019 05:08 Hi Theodora, I have processed a project again to see if the export tools is showing. I have complied with the above mentioned requirements, but the eMotion export tool does not appear. Is this perhaps because I am using a custom template? Or is it because my information is South Orientated? We are situated in South Africa. Regards, Hendrik Momtanu (Pix4D) May 30, 2019 22:07 Hi Hendrik, Did you create TMS-compatible tilesets, yet? In Pix4Dmapper, choose "Generate Google Maps tiles and KML", then you should be able to Send Map to eMotion from the Process menu. If that does not work, can you try uninstalling both the software and installing both of them again? Please make sure eMotion is not open when using this Pix4D feature. Let us know if anything works. Hendrik Jansen June 05, 2019 11:29 Hi Momtanu, Yes I have created the compatable tilesets and I have also now reinstalled both software. Emotion is also closed when I am using Pix4d. But I am still not able to use this feature. I will try and find a way to see what is causing this. Thanks Momtanu (Pix4D) June 06, 2019 00:56 Hendrik, can you also please contact sensefly? I am sure they will be able to give some input. Article is closed for comments.
