Supported drones, cameras and controllers

The status of Pix4Dcapture regarding the different drones, cameras, and controllers is described in the table below. When the app has not been tested, it means that the app could work but Pix4D makes no guarantee.

Information: If a Non-DJI camera is mounted on DJI drones, Pix4Dcapture will not be able to trigger the camera. Making it work will rely on the fact that a timelapse can be set in this custom camera. A specific functionality has been developed on iOS to keep the right overlap up to the camera specifications. More information here.

Recommendations to fly a drone that was not tested

The drone to be selected before starting a mission should be one of those having the same connection mode (Wi-Fi or USB cable).

Tip: The following drones are not officially supported by Pix4Dcapture. However, you may be able to fly your mission if you select the appropriate settings in Pix4Dcapture:
  • DJI Phantom 3 4K: Select Phantom 3 Advanced or Professional in Pix4Dcapture's settings.
  • DJI Phantom 4 Advanced: Select Phantom 4 Pro in Pix4Dcapture's settings.
  • DJI Matrice 600: Select Matrice 100 in Pix4Dcapture's settings.

    Good evening from Switzerland,

To be sure to answer you correctly, are you asking this question regarding the use of this camera with Pix4Dcapture which is the application to make automated flight plan using drones (this article is about Pix4Dcapture) or processing the images with Pix4D Mapper?

    Best,

  • Javier Guerra

    Hi,

Please inform, whether support for Mavic 2 Zoom is expected in future updates of Pix4D Capture??

I've tried and successfully tested Mavic 2 Zoom on Drone Deploy Android app, but I'm more comfortable with Pix4D Capture, therefore I'm anxiously waiting for this support.....

    Thanks and Regards,

    Khurrum

    Hi,

It is not in our pipeline to implement support for the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom at the moment. I would, therefore, recommend using any third-party app that can fit your needs in term of image acquisition.
Note that Pix4D's image processing engine will be able to deal with any dataset as soon as you have a sufficient image overlap for your project.

    Best regards,

  • Miguel Carrillo

For users of the mavic 2 zoom and your computer is not compatible with pix4D you can use the configuration of mavic pro ... it has worked very well for me on several flights that I have made ... greetings

When will M200 V2 be compatible?

  • Joakim Howlid

    When will XT2 be compatible?

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hello Joakim,

Currently, it is not in our pipeline to implement support for the XT2 camera. About the DJI Matrice 200 series V2, no decision has been made so far, I will share your interest with the developer's team and the Product Owner.

    Best,

  • Joakim Howlid

Any plans for supporting the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual?

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hi Joakim,

At the moment, it is not in our pipeline to implement the support for the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual. I will also share your interest with the developer's team and the Product Owner for this drone.

  • Emiliano Debiassi

I'd like to know if Anafi Thermal's RGB sensor will be supported in Android devices. If it does, do you have any idea when it will be available?

    Thank you.

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hi Emiliano,

It is currently not in the pipeline to support the Parrot Anafi thermal on the Android version of Pix4Dcapture. I will share your interest with the developer's team and the product owner.

    Best,

  • Jose Ripio

Please make it happen the support of the PARROT ANAFI THERMAL for Android Pix4D Capture

  • Jonathan Mathieu

    Good day,

Is Pix4DCapture is compatible with the new SDK remote controller for P4R?

    Thanks,

    J.

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hi Jonathan,

I guess you are mentioning the Phantom 4 RTK. Pix4Dcapture is not compatible for now with it but the team and the developers will evaluate the possibility to integrate it with our application in the future. So far no decisions have been made about it but I will share your interest with the Product Owner.

  • Vianney Parsa

    Edited by Vianney Parsa
  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hola Vianney,

    Saludos

  • Jamieson Allen

I am wondering if support will ever come for the Parrot Anafi Thermal and the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise (Zoom)?

I have both drones and cannot use either with your awesome software.

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hi Allen,

The Parrot Anafi thermal is supported on the iOS version of Pix4Dcapture since version V4.5.0. (only for RGB)
About the Mavic 2 Zoom, I will share your interest with the Product Owner so that they consider to implement the support for it.

    Best,

  • Raffaele Dalessandri

    Buongiorno,

  • Alexandr Litovka

Hello. I have phantom 3 pro. How i can fly with cameras foto settings 16:9? i don't wont fly with 4:3

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hello Alexandr,

Flying with Android or iOS version of Pix4Dcapture, the camera setting is set to 4:3 and there is no possibility to set it at 16:9 with our app.

    Best,

  • William Bush

I know that it has been mentioned in other threads. However, has there been any decision on adding compatibility for the Matrice 200 V2? It is no longer possible to purchase the original, and moving forward I would prefer to remain with your data capture platform.

  • Gaël (Pix4D)

    Hi William,

For now, no decision has been taken on our side. Be reassured that your interest has been shared with the Product Owner and we will communicate as soon as a decision will be taken for the support of the DJI Matrice 200 V2 series.

    Best regards,

  • HKD Geomatique

    Bonjour,
