When is a GCP / Check Point highlighted with red color in the Quality Report?

Follow

A GCP / Check point can be displayed with red color at the quality report. This indicates a problem with this specific point that is not taken into account for processing.

A point is highlighted with red color when more than half of its marks have big reprojection error. For more information about the reprojection errorReprojection error. To correct the problem, the marking of the point on the images should be checked.

    Hi Akihiro,

Thanks for your comment, however I am not sure to understand what you want. Is that a question? A remark?

Feel free to write in Japanese if you feel more comfortable, we will ask to one of our japanese collaborator to reply to you.

    Hi,

Just to clarify. When a point is highlighted red - Is this point ignored in processing or does the GCP need to be remarked/removed from the project for accurate results? In my instance I have 1 red highlighted GCP in a project with over 25 GCP's.

    Thanks

Hi Brian. That is correct it will not be taken into account. You should revisit your marks and ensure that the coordinates ad elevation entered for that GCP are correct.
