There is no limitation in the number of images that can be processed with Pix4Ddiscovery. The number of images depends on:

- Pixel resolution of the images.

A project that has been processed with Pix4Dmapper can be opened by Pix4Ddiscovery.
To open any Pix4Dmapper project, the following information is required:
- The .p4d file of the project.
- The output folder of the project.
- The input images of the project.

The option "Use for DSM and Triangle Mesh" is disabled because you are logged in with a Discovery License.
In order to use it, get a trial or ask for a Pix4D solution to our sales department

Student licenses? We have it at the campus lab but the systems are older now and render times are slow I would like to keep using it at home where I have better hardware and more time. especially with larger projects it can take an entire lab time for the render.

Thanks the school has those licenses and are installed in the lab but unfortunately then we can only use it while at the campus and with the rendering times by the end of class we can start working on a project or we have to wait until the next class. I was hoping to be able to run at home as a student license.

The best solution for you would be to talk to your professor and ask whether you can use the classroom credentials to log into the software from your home.
So, the first step would be to install Pix4Dmapper on your computer. In case you won't have the right executable file we can help you with that. Afterwards, you have to log in giving the email address and the password of the Pix4D account to which the EDU license is assigned. The third step is to choose the license type you want to use. At the very same time, your professor can control your use and deactivate your machine when needed.
If your processor would be sceptical about giving you the credentials, he can invite you to purchase a student license. It's a cheaper license in comparison to other commercial licenses.

You should download Pix4Dmapper. When logging in, if you do not have a valid license, you will get into the Discovery mode.
Hello, I have a valid Pix4Dmapper license purchased Sept.8, 2020, for one month use on my desktop. After downloading and installing, I have repeatedly tried to open Pix4Dmapper and the response continues to be Pix4Ddiscovery. I returned to the download page and installed again using the Repair option. No success. There is no obvious problem on the Plan page for my account. I have submitted Request #95537 and I am awaiting a response. Every day counts! Thank you.
