When to use Alternative Processing Mode in Initial Processing?

Follow

It is recommended for processing aerial nadir images of projects where:

  • The ground looks essentially flat in the images due to the proportion between the height of the objects and the height of the flight.
  • There is good image geolocation.

Example:
  • Farming and forestry terrains with repetitive structures (uniform grass, crop fields, trees).
  • Terrain with low texture (sand, ice).
  • Projects where nadir aerial images were acquired and the Standard processing mode did not produce satisfactory results.
