      Menu View > Home - PIX4Dmapper

       

      This article explains in detail the home view in PIX4Dmapper.

      Access: On the menu bar, click View > Home.

      The Home view has three sections:

       

      Projects

      Contains the items:

      • New Project...: Opens the wizard that guides the user to create a new project. For step-by-step instructions about how to create a new project: Step 2. Creating a Project.
      • Open Project...: Opens an existing project. Opens a pop-up to navigate and select a P4D project file (PIX4Dmapper project file format).
      • Recent Projects: Displays a menu with the four last projects that have been opened. By clicking one of them, the project will open.
      • News: Displays news about Pix4D.
      • Tips: Displays information about the use of PIX4Dmapper. It opens a support article containing a detailed description.

       

      Help

      Contains the items:

      • Getting Started: Opens the Support site, displaying the Getting Started index. This guide explains how to get started with PIX4Dmapper. It shows the needed steps before using PIX4Dmapper, how to obtain a good dataset, how to create a project, and how to start processing.
      • Software Manual: Opens the Support site, displaying the PIX4Dmapper Software Manual index.
      • Quick Links: Opens the Support site, displaying the Quick Links index.
      • Example Datasets: Opens the Support site, displaying the Example Datasets index.
      • Video Tutorials: Opens the Support site, displaying the Video Tutorials index.
      • Forum: Opens the Support site, displaying the Forum index page.
      • News: Displays news about Pix4D.
      • Tips: Displays information about the use of PIX4Dmapper. It opens the Pix4D Documentation containing a detailed description.

       

      Demo Project

      Contains the items:

      • Demo Project: Automatically loads a demo project, ready to be processed. Opens in a browser window the Getting Started index that explains how to get started with PIX4Dmapper.
      • News: Displays news about Pix4D.
      • Tips: Displays information about the use of PIX4Dmapper. It opens the Pix4D Documentation containing a detailed description.
