Missing data - R0117: The selected item has missing data - PIX4Dfields

This article explains the reasons for missing data errors in PIX4Dfields. It can be reported as "This project has missing data" and when opening the layer, the error "R0117: The selected item has missing data." appears.

Error message

When trying to open the project, the following error appears:

Projects stored in a different Data storage folder

Projects where any thumbnail image can be seen are probably in a different "Data storage folder":

• Solution: Select the previous Data Storage folder to access them.

Projects missing some files

Projects that have the image thumbnail of the project but the message "This project has missing data" remains:

• Files are missing within the Data Storage folder; perhaps the folder was moved, and some files were lost, so the original project is incomplete.
• Solution: adding the missing files to the Data Storage folder will solve the problem. 

Projects processed on a newer PIX4Dfields version

• These issues may also arise from using a different version of PIX4Dfields for processing. For more information: Project created in a newer version - R0014 - PIX4Dfields
