This article provides step-by-step instructions to solve the black screen issue when opening PIX4Dmapper.
This black loading screen appears when privacy settings are not configured. The specific configurations within the privacy settings are unimportant and must be filled in. Once the privacy settings have been established, the user can continue to use PIX4Dmapper.
- Go to the PIX4Dcloud page and log in with the credentials of the Pix4D account associated with the license.
- In the top right corner, click the user icon to open the user menu.
- Select Privacy Settings.
- Select "Yes" or "No" for all three questions under the Communication preferences and the Analytics section.
- Log in to PIX4Dmapper again.
