Officially supported DJI Drones
Pix4Dcapture officially supports DJI's Zenmuse XT for the following drones:
- DJI Inspire 1
- DJI Matrice 100
- DJI Matrice 200
- DJI Matrice 210 (RTK)
- DJI Matrice 600
Before flying
There are several factors that are unique to capturing and processing DJI XT images that you must consider before you fly:
- Image format: You must set the default image format to .jpeg via the drone manufacturer's original mobile application to ensure that you capture R-JPG images.
- Image resolution: You must capture Zenmuse XT images at the highest resolution. You can change the camera's default image resolution via the drone manufacturer's original mobile application.
- Focal length: You must account for image overlap if your camera lens' focal length is not 9 mm. Pix4Dcapture optimizes missions for a 9 mm lens when capturing images with a Zenmuse XT.
- You must increase the Pix4Dcapture mission's image overlap settings to account for the narrower field of view of your Zenmuse XT lens if it has a focal length that is greater than 9 mm.
- We do not recommend it, but you can decrease the Pix4Dcapture mission's image overlap settings to account for the wider field of view of your Zenmuse XT lens if it has a focal length that is less than 9 mm.

- Image source: Do not extract frames from a video. Zenmuse XT images must be captured as R-JPG to ensure that you acquire the most accurate results possible. Learn more about processing thermal images: Processing thermal images.
(iOS) Selecting your drone and camera
