Differences between PIX4Dcapture and PIX4Dcapture Pro

Follow

PIX4Dcapture Pro is the continuation of the PIX4Dcapture flight app.

Both applications differ in relation to the following:

  • Drone models compatibility - PIX4Dcapture Pro works with some of the latest drone models on the market from both Parrot and DJI while PIX4Dcapture works with older drone models, most of which are already depreciated. You can find more information in the table below.
  • Features - PIX4Dcapture Pro and PIX4Dcapture have common features, as well as different ones. Please check the table below for more information.
  • Licensing model - While PIX4Dcapture is open to all Pix4D account holders, PIX4Dcapture Pro comes in two versions: Discovery and Professional. While the Discovery version is open to all Pix4D account holders, the Professional version is only available to valid* Pix4D license holders. You can find detailed information here: Licencing model - PIX4Dcapture Pro.
