Description
When a camera is not included in the officially supported camera database, PIX4Dreact utilizes the embedded EXIF metadata in the images to determine the sensor characteristics. It specifically examines the following tags to accurately identify and estimate the sensor information:
Basic information for camera model assignment
Either:Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneResolutionUnit
and either Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneXResolution
or Exif.Photo.FocalPlaneYResolution
Or:Exif.Photo.FocalLength
and Exif.Photo.FocalLengthIn35mmFilm
Find the rest of the required tags in this article (e.g., Geolocation information): EXIF and XMP tag information for project creation
As long as the required tags are present, PIX4Dreact is generally capable of producing accurate outputs.
